Norwegian wedding spoons were traditionally gifted to a couple to share their first meal (or piece of wedding cake) on their wedding day and begin their married life together.
These intricately hand carved spoons are connected by a long wooden chain and typically hand-crafted from a single piece of unvarnished lightweight beechwood.
The age and origin of this set are unknown but they are in beautiful, unused vintage condition and a perfect one-of-a-kind gift for a collector or as a gift for soon to be newlyweds.
